There a number of tips to bear in mind when completing the Politics exams. Try to remember these when you are doing the exams.
1) Try to PLAN your answer out before-hand – even basically. It makes connections happen and helps focus you on your answer. It also helps you to structure a good answer. I would always suggest you put yourself in the mind of an examiner. They want a nice clear, well explained, well written answer with clear points for them to award you marks.
2) Use PARAGRAPHS to break up your work. Even on smaller questions, use 1 paragraph clear point
3) If it says ‘With reference to the Source’ then USE THE SOURCE.
4) Remember the Source should have an easily recognisable (if you’ve revised!) point or couple of points
5) EXAMPLES are REALLY IMPORTANT! Make sure you have them in your head
6) Don’t rush into choosing the final question. Consider both carefully and attempt the one you think you can answer the best
